RWould anybody know which audio protocol does wine/proton utilize to talk with Pipewire? Is it straight up ALSA (which would mean pipewire-alsa config would be effective to affect audio configuration of games run through Wine/Proton) or Pulseaudio (same story but with pipewire-pulse)?

RSo it looks like I have to work with both pipewire conf and pipewire-alsa conf (presumably also 50-alsa-*.conf from wireplumber).
I'll try to replicate settings from pw-dump on Steam OS to Bazzite (in hopes it fixes my audio issues).

:testingjournalctl --ho-hostname --user -u pipewire -u pipewire-pulse -u wireplumber -f outputs between the two (when running said game) yielded nothing of value (logs are pretty much the same between the two).

FYou would need to remove gnome-vrr 1st for that to work.

Whey guys, so in the near future i would like to get a steam oled only if valve makes a limited edition for europe, i wanna know what do i use to clone my ssd? do i need to rebase after the cloning process?
VI'd look up a guide on how to clone your drive for any other OS (e.g. SteamOS) because it's going to be the same process

Hthat command is correct in linux (as long as youre not botted into steamOS) assuming /dev/nvme0n1 is the SteamOS ssd and /dev/sda is the external ssd you are cloning the deck OS to
Halways triple check the if= argument (input file) and the of= argument (output file)
Hthe process will take a long time, once you are done with the clone, the easiest thing to do to fix the "size" of the disk is to open up a program called "gparted" it will detect a disk size mismatch and ask you if you want it to fix it for you and then you just resize the partitions and youre done

SMy idea was to download the older version and
rpm-ostree override replace with the older packagesSBut it just classifies it as an inactive override
SIs this because it's a downgrade?
SOr are we missing something else?
SI'm used to doing local overrides for upgrades when I compile stuff (like, custom Mutters and XWayland) and I know rpm-ostree can't reinstall the same package version but what about downgrade using Override?
Hyou would have to make a custom image because of kernel modules so i would believe they would have to make a custom image

Lbecause if i run ublue-update FLEEK_DEBUG=1 i get unrecognized argument. i ran /var/usrlocal/bin/fleek update -a to see the output : error:

Huse a live usb of any other linux system, or remove the ssd and use 2 m.2 enclosures and do it that way

Han usb which you can boot from that will put you into a desktop linux system.
you will need a usb dock, keyboard and mouse for this no matter what unless you take the ssd out of the steamdeck and put both the ssds inside an eclosure each and do the cloning on a different machine (at which point /dev/nvme0n1 will no longer be the correct input file)

Hthe easiest will either way be a reinstall onto the new ssd, this is also true for SteamOS and is what valve recommends because it is easier
