Sso yeah seems like dualbooting along side mac os is painless
Sjust go into disc utility. make a 2nd partition. and then select that partition during install
Sand easily removable after
Smac os is pretty easy in terms of booting vs linux and windows though
Sall of it is in a single partition usually
Snow it's in a APFS thing with containers but still single partition
Plinux is perfectly capable of using a single partition
Pbootloader just has to support mounting of the filesystem it's on

Pit can be pretty sketchy doing that with efi boot, however
Sthere is a hidden efi partition i think actually
Pvery much not recommended to force it and just follow the guidelines
Sor only if you enabled bootcamp support
Sit makes a bunch of folders
Sit also makes a OSXRESERVED partition with the windows installer and the automated driver scripting
Swhich then auto nukes itself and adds it back to your system after it's done which is neat
