All I did was doing the temporary change of replacing the file by running

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay and then downloading the file from waydroid here: https://github.com/waydroid/waydroid/blob/main/tools/helpers/net.py and then replace the file with the downloaded file in

/usr/lib/waydroid/tools/helpers/net.py

this would be a non issue, but i can't configure the waydroid session to intergrate with the desktop and use multi window mode with the error happening
