Hi there, I've been testing using Email Workers and it seems I can only get them to work if the module is written in a certain format.

If I use e.g.

var foo = { async email() {} }; export default a;

var foo = { async email() {} }; export default a;

it will throw an error "Email Trigger not available to this workers". This is the default syntax used by wrangler deploy.

But if I use

export default { async email() {} }

export default { async email() {} }

from the dashboard it works fine. Is this a bug?

I set up catchall worker, but it doesn't trigger when I send email to a random address at my domain, however the same worker works just fine when it is assigned to an address route explicitly. Is it a bug? And if it is, how to properly report it?

@kingkong @user3470 If I remember correct. You can not have the same worker connected to custom addresses and catch-all at the same time.

You can, I have one like that right now. It may be that it need some more time to sync, under overview the status should be "Enabled", not "syncing" or the same issue as the guy above email-routing

Hi everyone, I have a hosting with Hostinger and I want to use cloudflare for email routing, I want to get the emails sent to my domain to get send to my personal address.
I got this working but in order to send emails I need to use hostinger mail system with cloudflare, I also did that but I noticed that the emails sent from my "contact us" form get rejected and not allowed to pass and I can't solve this.
My website is buily with Wordpress on Hostinger hosting

@StefanH Set up email routing to either forward to your gmail.com address or feed them into the worker and that puts them into R2 for further processing.

There is no SMTP transport anyway. But its easy to script getting emails from R2 and feeding into MTA.

I followed this docs, for purpose of auto reply email:

but when an user send email from mail-client app (like using @gmail from outlook), message-id is replaced by a new one.

then would cause exception throw, "Message-ID" mismatch "In-Reply-To", in call

I have Google Workspace on my domain which uses Cloudflare for DNS. Let's call this domain1.tld.

Can I use Cloudflare email-routing to send create specialaddress@domain1.tld and route it to mainaccount@domain1.tld on Google Workspace?

Or, in this instance would I need to route specialaddress@domain2.tld (MX record pointed at Cloudflare) to mainaccount@domain1.tld (MX record pointed at Google)?
