Tdo you mean specifically KDE? SteamOS doesn't really have its own look other than the game mode UI
TKDE is also way more customizable than GNOME

TGNOME has this knack of being frozen in time because the GNOME devs want their vision and not really allow anything else

KI sold my deck, barely ever used the thing. It was too large to casually carry around for on the go times, and there was no reason to use it at home.
