CIf your issue is with the ergonomics of pressing the shift key, putting shift's behavior on capslock seems the simplist solution, so you don't have to deal with the ergonomics of pressing shift.
You seem to want capslock to act like shift, with the exception that you have to turn it off afterward. It's fine if you want that, and are willing to work to have that, but to me it seems like a weird extra step to have to turn it off afterward, so why have that step entirely.

CIf you just rebind caps to shift, it won't act like caps anymore. I think there may be a way with keyd to get it to act like both, but I'm not confident about that.

CDamn, like in macOS? I had to install Karabiner to remove the delay, I was never taught the "right way" to type so everytime I need to type a capital letter, I just use caps lock
CBut then you have to maintain capslock pressed when typing, which just doesn't feel right
CI don't know about Chai, but I have done this so many times for like 20 years, that its just a reflex now, I double press the caps lock key with my pinky almost instantly
CIt would take some time to alter that reflex
CBetween a couple hours and a couple weeks, depending on a number of things
CThat, and that I would need to change it in macOS and in basically any other pc I may use, so I'll keep my pinky machine gun ongoing

WSo I made the mistake already of installing it through Fleek and using 'just chsh' to set it as my default shell. I realized my mistake when none of my Flatpak apps were available.
I used 'just chsh' to revert back to /bin/bash and did a fresh 'fleek init'. Everything /seems/ fine now. Is there anything more I should do to fix it to avoid future problems?

Hthe problem with changing your login shell is that if you rebase and the shell doesnt exist on the image you rebase to, well you got yourself a big problem

Him not familiar with fleek or nix so i cant speak for that, but just changing back to bash will stop any issues from arising 
KAnyway the only method of doing that will also scale your games

KWell, like I said you can use game scope but it will also scale your games the same amount
Hjust make a terminal profile where you set the shell to zsh in and set that profile as default
