i have not done identical gpu passthrough, but /usr/usr is not writable so i doubt it will work unless there is an equivalent location in /etc/etc you can place it or you can accomplish it with rpm-ostree initramfsrpm-ostree initramfs

I didn't have access to the steam deck oled logo or the return to gaming mode icon so I just used the regular deck icon and changed it to orange and found a very similar arrow icon and edited it over it

make a new text file, save it to desktop and have the extension say .desktop.desktop
inside the text file add:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Return to Gaming Mode
Exec=qdbus org.kde.Shutdown /Shutdown org.kde.Shutdown.logout
Icon=steamdeck-gaming-return
Terminal=false
Type=Application
StartupNotify=false

[Desktop Entry]

The script could theoretically be anywhere, but the Dracut module definitely needs to be in /usr/usr. Seems like i'll be forced to make a custom image then
