steam does not remember password; game mode blank screen
Hi folks, I'm just trying out Bazzite for the first time. Install went fine however I have two problems which I thought might be related:
1) Steam will not remember my credentials. Every time I open steam, it asks for login like it's the first time, despite populating my username in registry.vdf under
2) Game mode does not work, I just get a blank screen. I thought maybe this was because it could not log into steam in order to open Big Picture mode etc
Every time I reboot, I just get the blank screen.

steamos-session-select plasma (either from a tty or ssh) gets me back to the desktop ok. I have tried rpm-ostree upgrade but it doesn't do anything because I'm already on the latest (I only downloaded the ISO earlier today). Any ideas?
