i literally took what @termdisc (Deck+PC) said once, and then realized 'wait this only applies to the KDE images we have' so updated that today with GNOME, if that works

i got the

gnome-session-quit --logout --no-prompt

gnome-session-quit --logout --no-prompt

from the bazzite 'return to gamemode' file so i assume it works
