Basically, let's say your iGPU speaks perfect english (OpenGL) and knows just a little bit of spanish (Vulkan), let's say the iGPU is reading a book in english (Gnome or KDE) and then, the book suddenly have some parts in spanish (nested gamescope) because, I don't know, some cheesy mexican characters show up, your iGPU can understand it still, as it's only a small part, and you have the context. But it turns out those mexican characters became really important, so now, the sequel to that book, is 90% spanish and 10% english, now your iGPU is in trouble, because he wants to read that book (gamescope as the sole compositor), the poor iGPU can only understand some stuff, it's gonna get confused, and it's gonna say "screw this, I'm gonna drop the book", and bam, crash, death, finito
