IHi, I am wondering if will be possible to somehow know the force applied to the motor by the user and use it as a value (Force sensitive device) this could be great for use as in the F1-16 pedals.
BI opted to skip the limiter, its also something you can have 3d printed close by anyways if you want.
And so far I dont feel the need for one still, as I'm not using an extension.
By stock the rhino behave as if it has about a 10cm extension compared to other gimbals.

DI have not felt the need for a limiter yet, but I will sure look for one sooner rather than later. Without an extension, the throw is quite good, but I have a part of my rig where the forward throw can bump into the rig itself.
BOne reason I opted to skip is i have an old 3d printer i could dust off and try out a few so i have options there.
BI used to have a font panel with cougar mfd's and the winwing panels, but I just removed it completely and I have no real idea how to get it up in a suitable fashion.
DI have the TM panels plus a F-15E UFC.
Pgood work m8 keep at it, you won't regret it, it's the single best investment I made for flight sim'ing, the difference between this & something good running cams, springs & dampners etc. is imho even greater than the difference between one of those bases & a logitech 3d pro. Also if you fly heli's then again imo it's even more game changing, warbirds benefit the next most followed by fbw. Good luck with the saving & keep at it!
CAlright that’s the plan I finally got a good pc to run vr for once
COnly problem is I use Hotas mounts on my desk I don’t think the huge base will support it
Pppl have used the desk mount by adding an additional bit that goes down to the floor to support the base
Pjust a piece or aluminium t profile that extends from the bottom of the base mount to the floor, taking up the etra weight
CShould I hop on a waitlist I’ll probably buy it next Christmas cause it takes me a bit to get all that money
CHopefully lawn mowing pays well
CDo you suggest getting the DIY build ? Is it hard?
EIt all depends whether you can allocate time for it. Not hard but can be time consuming. You might need access to 3d printer too

FYou can find the amperage to the motors in the configurator, but I'm pretty sure you'll have the same issues as people trying to make fss sticks
YCan't wait! Also I've noticed it will be a challenge to fit it into my chair

Tnice! have the same problem, using an Audi car seat myself. Might have to do some serious modding to it

YI own 2 VR headset but still prefer to chill with nothing on my head while flying
BAt this point I'm loathe to give up vr, but closer to buying a 50" oled and a delanclip than forking out for a 4090
DIt is the one off of Etsy… I cannot remember the exact name, but if you Google F-15E UFC Etsy it should come up. Works great for VR.

S4090? A great second choice is the 7900XTX. Think of it as a 4080 with 24GB, that's available at MSRP.

Athe vkb adapter is just a thing that connects the grip to the base physically and has a passthrough cable for the signal to go to the box
ASo you connect the combo with the PC with 2 USB cables. One for the base and one for the grip, Which is not the case for WinWinG and Virpil Grips! Many thanks.
AFor the Winwing Grips would you recommend the use of Joystick Extension Rod (https://eu.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=311) with the VPForce Base or not?

DI would like a more F-16 centric panel to accompany my F-16 WW throttle, just have not found anything I like yet. Or better yet, I would love I if WW offered a more Air Force-centric style of equipment.
