The 7900XTX which is 4080 tier takes 355W, the 4080 itself is 320W

In the past we as Linux users, had a choice of using stuff that worked on Linux.
From now on we have a choice of using stuff that is BETTER supported on Linux...

The 4090 is objectively the best performing GPU for gaming. There's no disputing that. Whether or not it's a good value is another question
