VNo, you can use an intel CPU just fine. Intel GPUs might even work now, but I'd bet AMD would be a bit more reliable.
Amy intel is uhd 630 which it wont work with gamescope-session due to missing vulkan extensions

Aim not willing to get older intel just get that working and get less performance sounds bad idea

GAnyone else have the deckhd screen? I installed mine after having it sit around for some time, and now I can't get the refresh rate to change in game mode.
