CDepending on what happened, and how you do it, a complete reinstall may not help
CThe problem is not the operating system
CIt is your data, and something you did to it, which must be deleted
CSo it is probably easier and better to just figure out what the issue is instead of trying to reinstall the OS which is already not the problem
SThe only thing I could've done is this app called portal appeared telling me heroic entered the background and I pressed allow
CYou have also been very crudely messing with drive mounting, which is what has broken Silverblue three of the four times I have ever seen it break
CThere's a reason I was recommending very specific ways to handle that, rather than what just appears to kind of work for unknown reasons
VMaybe this is a niche use of Bazzite, but I have a Bazzite instance that I run in a VM. Today, it started freezing up when logging in via Wayland. X does not freeze up after login. I spun up a brand new Bazzite VM, to test and it also freezes up when attempting to login via Wayland. Anyone see anything along these lines? I'm wondering if maybe it's related to a recent update or something.
SYeah so could drives do that? I don't think they would because I didn't effect the fedora drive where I think heroic is installed
CDepends. It's a low chance but I imagine there could be something like a leftover config file pointing to a games folder on a drive which it can't find again or doesn't have permission to access this time
CI am not blaming you or upset, and I wish I had the energy right now to make my tone sound more friendly - One of those four drive mounting mistakes was mine, and it bricked my entire system rather than just two apps. This should be fixable
