Bwell i have another question, but first some context; was looking at setting up chezmoi so that i can easily set up my dots and configuration between linux (home) and macos (work); would it make more sense to fork and maintain an image of arch (be bazzite-arch or just the bogstandard archlinux ) with the packages i want; (or do it as a script) if so, i know there's a bunch of tooling ublue provides for custom images and i was wondering if that extends to the custom distrobox images as well?

VI think two directories were the problem for me.
NI deleted some files downloaded from my Telegram client
VI ended up doing a reinstall for other reasons. So I no longer have that problem, but sounds like something that could happen again. Must be a reason.

A@Kyle Gospo can i ask you a question? i am been using bazzite on my laptop for a while, and the only thing that bothers me is the lock screen after waking up from sleep, i would like it to act more like the windows counterpart, where there are two steps to unlock, the first being pressing a button to show up the text box, the second step is inserting the password, on bazzite these steps are in one, the first button press is also the first input, so for example if i press the space bar, its not only gonna show the text box but also in that text box its gonna insert the space as the first input to insert the password, is there a way to separate the actions? making the first button press just to let the text box show up, then i can insert the password?
VWhat's interesting is if you install the flatpak version of Dolphin, it can access any of those directories no problem.
