AThe big screen and high resolution/high refresh rate of the legion go screen is appealing but the small size, vrr and arguably better ergonomics of the ally are appealing too

Kit's been kind of a PITA for linux support since day 1
Klike we're a year in and it still has minor issues around controls & suspend
AI figured the main issues would be stuff like VRR not working or something given that's a pretty common issue on linux desktops too

CThe important stuff is working great, the control issues should be solved really soon by the HHD developers, only the issue with sleep would remain

AHello, I have noticed that https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/pull/695 includes HHD support for a couple+ GPD devices, however my specific Win4 config includes a Lexar ARES/NM790 SSD which hangs on some kernel releases... AFAICT it's the same as https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/issues/775, https://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?331146-Lexar-NM790-4TB-NVMe-SSD-and-kernel-bug, and for whatever reason it was not really fixed for 6.5.6, but works on 6.6.10+, 6.7.x+.
Is there any respin/release/workaround I could try with a newer version or patch? I'm not too confident on the idea of forking and attempting to change the kernel version

AMain reason I ask is if suspending games is currently not working on ally or something that is not a big deal to me at all. I very seldom do it even on my deck
AHonestly I personally find that suspending games on even deck is kinda hit or miss
Asome games play nice with it. a lot don't
AEmulators especially like to lock up or act weird

AEverything works on the ally. As far as bazzite is concerned, some gyro patches + WMI that fixes a controller issue with sleep will be imported soon

AIt works perfectly well according to its owners. Fan curves and tdp are a bit meh with asusctl and ryzenadj but they work
AVRR is 90% of the reason I want one frankly

Asetting framerates game to game is fine. I don't mind it
ABut having smooth frametimes no matter what would be massive for me

Aand especially on the oled retroarch straight up has godawful frametimes if you don't set the refresh rate to 60hz

AWell avoid legion go then. Because steam only supports the SD displays properly
