Cache reserve and tiered cache both enabled would help that significantly but nothing is a guarantee since cache isn't designed to be used as the only origin

You can also consider customising the error page though that requires a Pro plan or higher, or using a custom Worker or similar to fallback to serving something static like a Pages project

cloudflare has somewhat limited built in rate limiting if that is useful

hello, i'm getting a Cloudflared Error

I have tried setting my cloudflared tunnel using http or https. Neither worked. I had no TLS verify enabled but that also didn't fix my problem. It only gives me an ERROR 502. I'm running this on docker

i also ran it using

docker run -p 8888:8080

since the default port is 8080...i don't know if this causes issues with Cloudflared

cloudflared in docker won't run on the same network as your localhost, 127.0.0.1 is just referring to the network namespace of the container

You can either

Make your service listen on a different local IP (the default docker network would give you one, and

would be listening on all IPs anyway) and point cloudflared to that
If your other docker container is in the same network, find its containers IP and connect to that instead
Throw network isolation out the window by running the container with

--network host

and then localhost will magically work. (This isn't recommended)

Just curious does anyone know how to get a cloudflare tunnel running in docker compose to reload the config from the filesystem on a restart :Hmmge:

I have a volume setup that will map a local file to the config file in the container but whenever I restart the tunnel process it doesnt load the config I have to docker compose down then docker compose up for it to want to load the config file again

Ok I actually have to rebuild I thought I got it working without needing the rebuild part :LUL: guess only got that for prometheus so far
