just broke up with my long term girlfriend so I need dating clothes again lol

I have nice clothes that I wear when going anywhere fancy but I feel like I could do with refreshing the rotation as I don’t have any long sleeve shirts anymore and I feel like they’re the go to? I was looking at over shirts too, I like a boxy fit as I’m a bit of a short arse and I don’t like to tuck in but I was thinking of looking into getting my shirts hemmed so that could be the way round it

A) thank you mate B) idk how I’d describe it I wear like dad style trainers or club cs, carhartt carpenters, dickies 874s or gramicci g pants and then on the top either neutral colours or green sweatshirts or hoodies usually but I have a cardigan and a quarter zip then for outerwear either my rain coat or a dickies Eisenhower I suppose I maybe align with like workwear or something?

Have you checked out the fashion guides? Maybe start at the top, #7 is on personal style https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1125076626665910332 I spent a lot of time on those guides - they helped me out a lot when I was looking for a style/what to do

Chore coats in nice materials are an easy way to dress well without dressing up. Linen for the summer and wool or moleskin for the winter or something. More rounded quarters (like portuguese flannel) can look a little more sport-coaty vs 90deg corners (most other brands honestly). I also align work-weary-outdoorsy and pants that feel both dressed up enough for somewhere fancy but also "me" are sometimes hard to find. Fatigues in different colors can be nice for that also white carpenter pants look great and unless you're going somewhere really fancy, look intentional enough to be dressed "well" and are easy to pair other things with It's def nice to have a couple long sleeve shirts. Blue university stripe oxford (slightly oversized) with some washed out jeans and sneakers or loafers is one of my favorite summer outfits on just about anyone chambray with green fatigues is hard to make look bad
