Aso btrfs has a windows driver, but i hear it's got issues. linux has an ntfs driver, but it also isn't perfect

Xhaving a shared parition for linux+windows is not a requirement, so I skip this potential pitfall. Only need windows for 1-2 online games with win-only anti-cheat. Happily switching over completely with everything else. Thanks for the suggestion @Aru , i will try to add a separate data partition to make use of the new free space. Is there a GUI available for this task like during initial setup?
Ahmm, so you can free up the space in windows, then boot back into bazzite and create a btrfs partition with that free space
Anot quite sure if auto-mounting partitions is the same as on other distros, would it just be adding an entry to fstab on bazzite?
Abe careful with the fstab file, one little mistake and you end up in emergency shell
Asudo findmnt --verify --verbose seems to do the trickAbefore you reboot

Blast time i tried to set up a service (for sunshine) I made my bazzite unbootable until I accessed the file system via another OS and removed the problem service file

Fexfat is my go-to for sharing, the biggest issue is that it's slow on both OSes. Only really use it when I absolutely have to, otherwise I use Nextcloud / GDrive / my local NAS for sharing most things.
