Hi @accur4te at that time I used python2.7 which used to come by default in older raspbian os. Now in 2024, if you're trying run Python code it will throw an error. As per new changes Raspberry Pi OS uses python3 by default. Apart from this don't forget to install

paho-mqtt

support MQTT by default so no need to setup anything there. But if you wish to use only a Server from AWS then its possible to deploy
