Hi, is there a way to bind Cloudflare Access applications to workers? Ex. having Cloudflare generate an authentication token the Worker can use to call the Access service. I think you have to use a static service token stored as a secret for this but it's not optimal.

Hi, I'm using Cf workers for my website but it won't cache the index page in the CDN. I've created a cache rule that matches the hostname and configured the CDN to respect origin's Cache-Control header. Static assets (JS, CSS etc.) are cached correctly and contain the Cf-Cache-StatusCf-Cache-Status headers, only the index page won't ever get cached

Hello guys, I'm using Cloudflare Workers as Middleware before serving files from my files.example.comfiles.example.com! Basically, I do some auth checks in worker, If all good, then do return fetch(request)return fetch(request).
Question is that, does worker or anything of it, caches those requests? I don't want that to happen. In cache rule, I set files.example.comfiles.example.com as bypass cachebypass cache.

Did I do something wrong (like wrong nodejs version?) or are there just some packages that cannot be used / included in the Cloudflare env ?

Hey! I would like to get some feedback. I have a new domain example.comexample.com, and I want a few workers to serve the content of my sites:

- shop.example.comshop.example.com -> Remix app on worker
- dashboard.example.comdashboard.example.com -> Remix app on worker

Question: Is it an okay practice to call one worker from another worker?
I was thinking of calling example.com/apiexample.com/api from the web app workers to create one source of truth for API calls. Is this generally an acceptable pattern, or should I just query d1 directly in each worker?

Also, I am a bit confused about how I could point a worker to example.com/apiexample.com/api. This doesn't seem to be doable with a custom worker domain since it includes a pathname. 1) No, I don't think they are. Workers aren't very good at jobs that take a long time.
2) 30 seconds, generally. 15 minutes for cron triggers and queue consumers. See the docs
3) If the job can be split up into smaller jobs that take no more than 30 seconds each, you could use DOs and alarms to do the job step by step. Doing it like this would allow you to query the status in between.
4) It's not great. Postgress is better supported

It is generally not recommended as it can cause some strange and unexpected behaviour. Would this work for your usecase?

I have not. If your worker is <1mb and you're on the paid tier it has previously been (and as far as I know still is) stored in all datacentres, so with extremely low latency.
