Did anything happen to the Bazzite tech stack in the last few days which could have doubled my laptop's performance in a somewhat arbitrary variety of games, and made some start working at all..?

- Slime Rancher 2        ~30fps -> ~40fps, playable with stutters present but very limited by VRR
- Metal: Hellsinger      0-15fps -> 60-00fps
- Palworld               40-70fps windowed 1920x1080 minimum settings -> ~100fps 1920x1080 or 40-45fps 3440x1440 medium settings
- Warframe               50-85fps minimum settings -> 50-75fps maximum settings
- Dyson Sphere Program   50-70fps -> 110fps
- Techtonica             40fps minimum settings 80% resolution scale 1920x1080 -> 45fps low settings native resolution 1920x1080
- *Bullets Per Minute    *fps increased but still has a bad frame-drop-on-weapon-fire issue

The really weird thing about these is that I haven't changed (most of) their proton versions, and I think the Nvidia driver is the same version number

The reason we are trying to move away from the original installer is because it was a net install. It takes a while depending on your internet connection.

There is no link to the SHA-CHECKSUM file so we can check for errors after downloading...

Well... I just updated for the first time in a month or so. Bazzite deck latest 23Feb build. My LCD deck is booting to a black screen. I can hear the UI and system working behind. I did manage to get it to work on the dock when I booted using grubx64 efi file

I noticed that rpm-ostree status shows both entries are the same. So did a rollback anyway and now it's booting showing updating kargs. If this doesn't work I'll try rebasing to Jan 13th, the last build I was on.

Nah, got a blank unresponsive terminal this time but that's not unusual. Still able to navigate behind that to get to desktop mode. Rollback seems not to have my prior deployment. Going to have to try rebase.
