Doc Martens styling suggestions
So I got myself a pair of Doc Martens mono in black a few days ago. They looked great with a pair of Levi 501's in black from Mark's, and I liked the aesthetic with the flannel shirt. Anyone have other styling suggestions?
I've read they're pretty versatile. I'm breaking them in with some Danish Endurance socks.
I'd like to check out eBay for some ideas. When I resume fashion hunting 1st week of April I'd like to start budgeting and being more stingy with my money. I've got a nice basic bastard base going now so I can just cruise and take my time.
Thanks!

What model of docs
when you say mono i assume either 1460 boots or 1461 derbies
Oh 1460
ah then yeah a flannel shirt with/without a tee under and some denim is the classic template for doc boots
Another combo you can try is cargos and a hoodie +/- a bomber jacket if it's cold
I love to pair them with a wider cut, slightly cropped or cuffed pant that hits right at the top of the shaft too. I've got these uniqlo cords that hit right at that spot and those, docs, and almost any sweater is a good fall/winter look.
In the summer they're super easy to wear if they're broken in, but I think leaning into the punk style of the boots makes them look really great with like some cut off denim shorts and a band tee.
What classic cargo colors do you recommend?
Black or olive green
