my 10 year old laptop uses up to 30 mins on it maybe a bit more, never really timed it my threadripper system uses maybe 1-2 minutes my htpc uses maybe 4-5
in the future if a change has to happen with 1 of the 2, it will have to rebuild those but only 1 of them (unless there happens to be an update for both which is very rare)
It's theoretically better and I do think it wins in some scenarios. Bazzite's focus isn't totally on performance as much as something like nobara but there are some (small) gains.
Thanks. Yes I know, but I like to use Flatpaks for proprietary software and I like Flatpaks in general. I also noticed the Steam Flatpak has the latest mesa driver.
