DFor gaming? Yes
Mbazzite and nobara are much better for gaming over vanilla fedora. fedora is primarily a workstation os and excels at that.
Mi use fedora 39 in a VM on my macbook for coding and it's great for that

Mit's the only thing I override on flatpak for steam (--filesystem=/run/media)

KThat's a steam error, 100% of that lives in your home dir
KTry validating game files, it also validates the compatibility tool
KGetting that for every game
KMakes sense, most will share the same compatibility tool
