F@walmis : Not sure if this is reported already but this issue was today replicated with two Rhino users. A-10C (and apparently also F-5) the DCS in-game control indicator range is shorter in fwd direction compared to aft (picture 1). As a consequence, Rhino is considering the neutral position to be this much fwd. Forces seem to be quite ok but the neutral position is very awkward (picture 2). The correct behavior would be that the Rhino is physically centered in neutral position and allows full aft deflection but with limited (or scaled) fwd deflection. Can we expect a fix for this or any tips for temporary workarounds? Would not want to edit the global profile as this problem exists only for certain modules.

HAlso for some strange reason I need to have the y axis inverted for normal movement.
PHi, I’m getting the VPForce set up for the first test in MSFS and I get a left aileron deflection every few seconds whenever the stick is full forward or full aft. Any ideas what the problem would be?

PAre there any profiles that are a good starting point for msfs and dcs?
SAxes should not be bound in msfs- telemFFB handles it. (Get the wip version)

FThis works. Thanks a lot! Would be nice if the configurator detected the module the same way as TelemFFB. However, can live with this just fine. 
LI encountered a strange issue with MSFS (everything works in DCS): the stick lost all the spring/damping force as soon as I launch TalemFFB. It seems the TalemFFB effect is still on but the configurator shows USB disconnected. If I close the TalemFFB then the stick springs back to center again and can be trimmed as well.
Nwhat the spring does when you connect TelemFFB to MSFS depends on a great many things. Including:
- What type of aircraft is loaded
- Whether you are paused/slew mode, in the hangar, or in an active flight and how the pause spring is configured in TelemFFB
- Depending on the type of aircraft, whether you are cold and dark, idling on the ground or flying
Under no circumstances will it cause the USB to disconnect however. Unless you are accidentally pushing a configurator profile which changes the USB ID of the device (but that doesn't sound like what is happening).

Lit happened mid flight, when i realize i forgot to launch TelemFFB, so i pause the game, launch TelemFFB, unpause game, all spring force is gone, close TelemFFB in the same flight, spring force is back. Had this issue a few times but will try to reproduce it.
Ltried again, this time it did not disconnect, but force trim is not working with telemffb openned. (flying in flyininside B206). Forcetrim works without Telemffb
WIf you're using the Hardware trim feature, then it won't work if the spring force is controlled by the application
WYou would need to setup force trim in telemFFB itself

Shardware trim off. btw for "realism", the B206 doesnt have force trim . ive been told it feels like a 70s car power steering, very loose but stays where you put it

Sit's for games not controlled by telemffb, so you could set up any generic game to have the function. everything on the effects tab is for "when telemffb is not running"
WI might add, not only telemFFB but any native FFB supported game, such as DCS
Hnot everything. The axis scaling or balance spring works even with telemffb and regardless of the sim. Endstops too. I think the effects that are overwritten by the sim or telemffb are those who have the "sticky" option, of course when this option is off

FThe software stop and axis scaling did the trick. However, need to remember to adjust every time you change the module.
NIf you didn’t already know, TelemFFB can dynamically load the configurator profiles for you.

[Hello all. I have just started testing and configuring my DIY buikld cyclic for Mi-24 DCS helicopter. I am struggling to understand the Trimming setup.
I expect the Trim button when depressed to make the cyclic go loose, and allow for repositioning to a "new centre", which will be offset from true centre. However, the spring effect simply pushes the stick back to true centre. Settings below.

[I dont yet have hardware Trim button activated, so maybe thats why? Using keyboard T.
WYou have trim override enabled - this will take away trim control from DCS
WIf you use DCS FFB trim, disable the hardware trim feature

I've successfully autocalibrated using the configurator, but once I run DCS, the weight of the stick pulls the centrepoint back a little, so that at rest, the stick is effectively trimmed nose-up.
Is there any way to make the stick rest at the center point, compensating for the slightly asymmetrical stick weight?

HIn fact the correct way is to use the "balance spring" feature, if you put your mouse over the feature it says it adds a force to counteract grip weight. This is exactly what you need. Moreover it is a very useful feature as you can add force left, right, top, bottom.
The best way to setup it is to launch dcs with the huey for instance, as it has the force trim (if you do not have it you can enable hardware force trim for testing purpose), then you use for trim at different points, top left, top right, and so on, you see where the circle is and where the blue point is, and you add force so the blue point stays in circle.

HLook what my settings are, I have the same setup as you, a Z extension on the base. Not the same grip I think though, so you will need to adjust the numbers.
SWhile of course not rocket science i assume, looking at all those options i think for a while ill miss the ease of install of a non ffb cam stick base

SI recently had an issue with DCS on a particular private multiplayer server where TelemFFB showed that it was not connected to DCS. My haptic seat software (SimShaker Aviators) also would not connect. Is there some server-side setting that limits communication with the export LUA?
JSome servers have player export turned off. It is an anti cheat issue. It isn't necessary to address to address cheating, if you are friendly with the admins you could suggest they enable only that option or find other servers to play on.
SAwesome, thank you! I am totally ignorant about server-side stuff. This is my virtual squadron's private server where cheating isn't an issue....this would almost certainly be an accidental misconfiguration.
