Oh No! something went wrong - when deploying template
Hello, I'm trying to deploy this template: https://railway.app/template/QvfPwp on a trial user.
After clicking the "Deploy Now" button, it starts creating the canvas with the environment pieces, but after a some seconds I get en error.
See attached image. If I navigate to dashboard, and then click on the newly created project, I am taken to the canvas where I can now se the 4 pices, but they all show "No deploys for this service"
I have tried 3 times now, so it seems like the issue persists.

when did you upgrade to hobby
I did not - do I need to?
yes
Oh, okay that would explain it. I did not meet any pay wall when trying to deploy the template, so I didn't realize that would be the issue. Will upgrade and try again
yes its quite the confusing error in this case
Is it correctly understood that when I upgrade to hobby, i pay 5$ immediately, but then I still have a 5$ allowance per month, like a trial user has? Difference is, now I am credit card verified, and can exceed the 5$ allowance.
I'm writing a tutorial upon request, and I'd like to be clear about the costs. My user is higher tier and was created a long time ago, but looks like I am getting 5$ credit on that user - is that also the case for new users created now?
the hobby plan costs 5$ a month and comes with 5$ every month that can be used towards resource usage
So it cost 5$ but you get resources worth of 10$ for that price, and can go above?
as just mentioned, you get 5$ worth of credits to be used towards resources, im not sure where you are getting the $10 number from
but yes you can end up spending more than 5$ per month if your resource usage exceeds the included $5 of resources
Can you end up spending less than 5$ per month? I think I remember some time ago, when I was hosting just 1 project with little traffic, i was paying less than one dollar because of the 5$ credit - is this still the case? Or will at least 5$ be charged every month? Sorry for the confusion
5$ is the minimum spend
alright now its clear! Thank you
no problem!
Thank you this also helped me with having the same problem 🙂 cheers team!
