Ri was using fedora workstation prior to bazzite and it had a feature in gnome to lower/increase brightness and enable/disable keyboard backlight using the ambient light sensor on my laptop

Twhat do you mean by "custom game launcher?"
TThey're not all Bazzite, but most are Universal Blue images. Tons are using either KDE Plasma or GNOME desktop environments which are both available on Bazzite
Tyou could fork bazzite btw. im not sure about any of the technicals on this hardware that you're making, but you could easily build off of our images
KI've found that my legion go doesn't always sleep correctly or come out of sleep correctly. Not sure if this is a known issue.

Tyeah to add to this. bazzite has rapidly changed in the 8 or so months it's had a public release. By the time it's a year old, things should relatively stay the same without major changes or cleanups
