OG-107s

I'm interested in getting a pair of OG-107s, or something similar. Yes, please do laugh at me for walking back my dislike of olive green. Details I like: button fly, patch pockets, side cinch. I don't want cargo pants. Vintage is fine, but a lot of the listings I've seen on eBay look pretty beat up. Is there somewhere else I should look? How much should I expect to pay? I'd prefer 100% cotton, which seems to rule out the more recent OG-507s, but I might be persuaded if someone makes a case for them. Among modern reproductions, Bronson ($55, https://bronsonshop.com/products/non-stock-og-107-fatigue-utility-pants-baker-pants) looks pretty faithful, and inexpensive, but the sizing seems weird. Can anyone who owns them tell me what size you bought, and what your usual waist/inseam is? Other options I've come across: Stan Ray, $85. https://stanrayusa.com/products/og-loose-fatigue-olive-sateen. Looks pretty good, has a zipper fly. Lee, $100. https://www.lee.com/shop/mens-workwear-fatigue-pant-olive-grove-34-34-112343212%3A34%3A34.html. Looks more workwear than DoD. Alpha Industries, $125. https://www.alphaindustries.com/products/mbo52500c1-fatigue-pant?variant=40235850661943 Outerknown, $170, https://www.outerknown.com/products/the-utilitarian-pant-olive-drab. Looks a bit meh. orSlow, $300. https://www.endclothing.com/us/orslow-us-army-fatigue-pant-01-5002-16.html Fatigues from other countries (Sweden, Austria, etc.), https://universal-surplus.com/collections/pants-fatigue. I know nothing about how these compare to the good old USofA

You could also look at Sauce Zhan they make some cotton sateen OG107s in both a slimmer and original wider fit. In both green and white https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33012694458.html Seems they only have the straight/slimmer in stock currently

I have the Bronson pair and the measurements posted on their site are true to what I received. For most of their product it seems like folks size up, which is accurate for their shirts/tops IME but not their pants. I got a size small, typically wear a 31”x30” for most brands and that’s the correct size for me - with the side buttons/adjusters I’d say you could be up to a 32” or maybe 33” waist and fit into them. When I placed my order they actually had a CS rep reach out and confirm sizing with me as well (asked for my measurements and were willing to adjust sizing before shipping) so that may be a good option. Overall I quite like them, have only worn a few times but they’re a nice pair of pants and hit above their pricepoint I’d say.

I would go vintage personally. They can be found cheaper that most modern repro’s and if you keep your eye out you can find a pair that isnt beat up I have a few vintage pairs all purchased in the 50-80 dollar range

I'm with digs here, vintage is swaggier than repro

hit up @coralfangatelier on instagram, he recently posted a load of vintage ones in pretty good condition and has decent prices local to chicago as well

Sateen cotton ages so nicely and gets very soft so a vintage pair will look nicer and be more comfortable as well imo CFA is probably my favorite vintage seller tbh

OMG that's a lot of green pants! Should I just message him directly on instagram? Not sure about the protocol here. Ooh he's in Chicago too. And has an Etsy store

Gonna hijack the thread to ask a related question. I got a pair of OG-107s from a vintage store and they're awesome but a bit long. Should I hem them or is that sacrilegious and should I instead rock some big cuffs?

Try rolling them for awhile. If you don't like it, get them hemmed. I don't think hemming is sacrilegious. 🙂 It looks like everything he has right now is too small. @Benjiara looks like a bunch that might fit you, if you want a pair.

Thank you! I have 507s and also 107s I'm going to sell. I'd like beige fatigues (not sure if that's a thing outside repros), messaging him to ask

Nah i’ve hemmed a pair i would say they are common enough to wear people wont chastise you

Lol he's asking $160 for a pair Maybe they're specific rare pairs but that's like 8 times what I'm willing to pay for fatigues 🤷

Looks like a bunch of the OG’s are early 13 star button varients which are rarer and fetch a higher price
