C@Kyle Gospo Been doing various things with my monitor's built in "frame counter" enabled and it doesn't dynamically change, is there anything in particular I can do to test whether VRR is working right and/or fix it?
CI think it usually or always works, but sometimes I do have odd issues. Is explicit sync support required (and still not merged yet) for VRR to work with Nvidia 545+?

AI'm on a System76 build of Ubuntu for instance since I bought my laptop from them

CI went Windows -> WSL -> Manjaro (for maybe two days at most) -> PopOS (dual boot then primary) -> Silverblue-Nvidia -> Bazzite-Gnome-Nvidia:testing
CPopOS was alright, and I got performance about on par with Windows in most games
CI happened to see a dramatic improvement when I switched to Silverblue/Bazzite, but that depends on a lot of things

AYeh main reason I'm on linux is I'm a web developer carerer-wise so its just easier that way and I hate windows/macs.
AIt looks like the install requires a full OS install, I assume best to do that on an old laptop to test things out then move forward if happy yeah?
