Found a good reason to have distribox use a different directory for home. To do some work I had to edit my .bashrc and this way it didn't pollute my existing .bashrc
I did check out the options but it seems to be a generic message broker window, no visible string indicated anything to do with background tasks, just "from app" or sth
Is Bazzite doing some sort of noise suppression by default? I am doing screen sharing audio and I think the Monitor audio sources are getting caught up in that, it is the only thing I can think of why things sound like garbage
It's whenever I pipe the Monitor audio through Discord screensharing through Webcord, or when I used it as the microphone in Telegram. It sounds the same through both, but recording it through REAPER doesn't appear to have an issue.
Because Webcord does actually grab screen audio properly, it just doesn't say that it does, and I was trying to figure out what was going on because I can't think of anything at this point. We tried different devices on his end and it isn't him, I don't hear it that way on my system, and recording the Monitor source doesn't sound that way
If you play music through, it very kinda sounds like you are running music through noise suppression, it is bringing out the vocals and throwing the rest away
Doing a quick search through the github brings up this, but I don't know if this is related, I don't think it is because it looks like it should be making a new source?
