Nice thanks man that fixed it on my end. I just needed to set TDP to 15 and back to the desired TDP on the "Default" profile and the audio crackling is gone.

Nothing wrong with spending money on hardware if you can afford it. That being said, hardware progresses very quickly, so trying to futureproof is a pretty fruitless endeavour. Buy what you need in the current moment

The reboot is needed because of the immutable nature of uBlueuBlue/ostreeostree/BazziteBazzite....
Normal Linux versions can update while running, but the update process of these OS types need a reboot for them to actually apply..

I have tried the nvidia drivers (as the founding father intended) but the new nvidia drivers are shit and it cannot build kargs

If the only problem is a grey text only screen at boot, try to connect your monitor to the iGPUiGPU output...
That solved it for me...

added a toggle to SimpleDeckyTDP v0.2.2. if the option is enabled, the plugin will temporarily set max TDP on resume.
