Only the Cloudflare one merges successive slashes, and it'd only do it to Cloudflare's products by default. You can enable it to normalize the input to your origin. Even with both enabled though, the web browser would still see it sending two slashes

How do you setup redirects only for urls with non-empty wildcards?
For example:
I want to redirect example.com/slug/123 to example.com/123 and leave example.com/slug as it is without redirecting.
I have set the below in redirects file.
/slug/* /:splat

But the above also redirects example.com/slug/ path to example.com/.

Is there a way to redirect only if it matches the non-empty wildcard?

Not really, unless you do so within Functions. Pages already has a cache, and applying an extra cache layer on top could cause it to break when you update your project, while providing negligible performance gains, if any

With pages? The default caching is by extensions (among a few other things). So you'd have css/js/etc (not HTML!) being cached, and that happens even without cache headers set

Pages already has its own cache under the hood though, so if your css/js isn't using auto-generated names, you can end up with your custom domain being delayed updating

You cannot embed the API key in the HTML. You need to have some server-side code of some kind, either Functions or a real server somewhere: https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/functions/

Do you have _headers and _routes.json in your public folder? I all of a sudden got hit by 404's on assets and including _headers and _routes.json per this remix PR (https://github.com/remix-run/remix/pull/8722) seemed to fix.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my github account. I've tried pushing commits to multiple branches in git, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Github is having issues right now. It's usually Github who has issues and breaks the auto deployment stuff, could try using a deploy hook to get it to manually build off the latest commit

having a problem with cloudflare reporting back to github correctly. based on some of the above messages seems like there are some issues with the github app, but in look at the status channel it seems like everything is listed as resolved? my pages build fine, but i have a job that runs after cloudflare reports back, have this
