So i just finished setting up my secondary drive to auto mount on startup and everything is great but now i cant add the secondary drive to steam. I try adding a new drive through the storage settings on steam, it asks me to choose a library folder, click ok and nothing happens. Click add drive again and it asks me to pick a folder again. Why is this so hard lol

if the drive was attached when you installed bazzite it has an option to add the secondary drive to the main storage pool and it just shows up under steam as 'internal storage' but the second drive will show up as an available but unattached drive under steam and you won't be able to attach it

You should just need to make sure its formatted to btrfs and mount it somewhere like /steamdrive2 then point steam there so it can make a steamapps folder. I'm not infront my my linux machine now but under the partition manager if you right click properties menu you should be able to find a menu to mount it to a specific folder location.

or you can edit the fstab document manually using the terminal, I cant recall the exact method for that other than opening fstab using kate via terminal and adding the lines in but there are lots of guides if you search

It automatically chose my nvme as primary and my sata as secondary but there was an option to flag one as primary

it was actually a big selling feature for me with bazzite. After I realized about it showing the second drive in steam as a weird bug its been great

No, you should mount your drive with systemd or fstab and add a steam library to it
