Billing added from shared user
I have created an account and started the setup of the Neon. However, we wanted to upgrade to the Launch plan, so I included the responsible to manage billing using the "Sharing" access on the project setting.
He said everything has been done properly, but I can't see that any effect has happened, and I still blocked to use the paid features.
Who can assist me with that? Kind of messed up as I "am not" a paying user, I can't contact support to become a paid user.

@Yanic mind helping this person out?
What is your email
I can also do a quick look

That is another "problem" we have to fix. I first created the account using gabriel@aspyr.ai using Google Login. Now we have changed the domain to the final one as relato.com, but I tried to use the "change email" feature, and it didn't.
TLDR, the account is under gabriel@aspyr.ai
And project name, Relato

I do see that you are still on the free plan
But I think solving your email issue should probably be the first step

@Tristan Partin could you also check david@relato.com? He was the one that I shared the project with, and was doing the account upgrade. Then I am not sure if something is stuck somewhere, or if that ended up been associated to his account, and not to the shared project
protestant-coral•2y ago
what region?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
The project was created on US East (N. Virginia)
protestant-coral•2y ago
I see that David has a paid plan by the way
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Ok.. but it isn't associated with the project I shared with him? Project id is: icy-dew-70990367
protestant-coral•2y ago
You are currently the owner of the project
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Yes, but then just the owner can add the payment? Did he end up creating a paying account, but isn't the project I first shared with him?
protestant-coral•2y ago
I think that the owner has to be the paying customer
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Is there a way we can all glue it together?
In summary, that is what happened:
- I am the tech lead of the project, David is the owner of the company
- I create the project and I will manage it
- I shared the project with him
- I asked him to upgrade to Lauch plan
- Now I have a working project without the billing
- He has.. something I haven't looked yet

I jsut did a couple other steps while we talk, and that what I have now
- First signed up with Google, but our domain changed
- Used the "Change Email" feature as the link
- First I got an error saying I needed to add a password, while I just added the password on the dialog
- Changed the password using "Set password" feature
- Tried again to change the email and it was "successful", but no interface wanted to update
- Logged out, and tried to log in again. It didn't want to accept the email and password I just updated. It logged in correctly using the social login
- Logged out again, and asked to reset the password. It reseted properly, I can log in using those credentials, but strangely I can also log in with the social login
- Now, the new email is somewhere linked to the auth part, but the UI still showing the old one
protestant-coral•2y ago
so your new email and password works now?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
I can login, yes, but my profile on the interface still showing the old email and I can also login using the Google Oauth, eventhough described on the documentation that I wouldn't be able anymore:
"It is important to note that changing your email will unlink your existing social account. After you make this change, you will only be able to use your new email to sign in."

I will provide this feedback
This is currently being discussed internally. Thanks for your patience!
Did you make sure to verify your new email when you changed emails?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Well, I tried, but I got a message saying something like "this email is already in use"
But regards the upgrade of our project, is that something you guys are investigating?
Btw, we are trying to get in a route where instead I share the account with the responsabile for the billing, I get invited by him to his project and I manage from there. However, I also can't accept the invitation. I even tried to delete my existing project, and nothing, I jsut fall to the "create a project" page
Maybe something with my buggy account? It still showing my old email in the UI. I tried to create a new account using the new email, but it says it already exists. So, some part of the system knows that already
protestant-coral•2y ago
So you can currently log in with your new email and your old Google login?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Everything was quite messy, so we are trying to start clean as we are just starting. I asked support and then @Yanic answered. We deleted my account, and I am starting fresh with the new email. Now just waiting to get invited by the other team member to the paying project. I will update tomorrow
Jut got the invite, and now it seems to work. I have a user with the new email, and I have access to the paying project the other team member created
protestant-coral•2y ago
I'm sorry this has been so rough for you
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
