KIt was recently abandoned and without a maintainer, and Fedora is planning to replace it with Tuned, thanks to a new Tuned-PPD package that gives Tuned the same dbus functionality ppd has
KWe implemented it ahead of time
KSo now when you change between powersave/balanced/performance in KDE/GNOME, it toggles to the assosciated profile in TuneD
KI have no idea why it's crashing for you though, works fine on every piece of hardware I have
