Cancelled iirc means the client has disconnected before a response was returned

You can't just use curl request and parse the. chunks for a SSE response to the frontend?

you don't have curl in a Worker. Use the openai npm package, it's much easier even if you aren't doing streaming.

hey, i noticed there is no support for ciphers in node:crypto when node_compat is enabled. Is there a polyfill available, and/or an equivalent implementation on subtle crypto, specifically with aes-256 and iv (initialization vectors)?

Depends on the use-case. For simple things (i.e. single-url rewrites, single-path sites) then probably fine not to. If you have anything more complicated like multiple paths or different HTTP methods then Hono is far easier than manually writing code to route requests.

what is the best way to deploy a worker to a specific region? if you bind to a d1 database, does it stay there always, even if you don't use the d1 db? and can you do that with cloudflare pages, like nextjs ssr rendering?
