There could be other factors in this too, like it not working on this GPU in the Ally specifically or something, but I don't know a whole lot on how GPU drivers work

That worked as expected! It opened and I can use it.

Not sure why opening it from tray icon does not work tho.

thats the issue hybrid graphics had but you only have one so i dont know why this is happening

@Kyle Gospo im so so so sorry for pinging you again, i just wanted to ask you if you made any other tweak to your image to make it so kernel-fsync would work. im trying to install kernel-tkg on my image and it cant properly build the initramfs image on mine, even though i did pretty much the same as you when i was installing the kernel
