Has anybody else with the Legion Go (or I guess, a handheld with a -deck image) been unable to bring up the keyboard or change the brightness using the controller (QAM) combos since the latest update?

That worked as expected! It opened and I can use it.

Not sure why opening it from tray icon does not work tho.

thats the issue hybrid graphics had but you only have one so i dont know why this is happening

Yes that is not working anymore as the hold has been repurposed

Yeah I used to do it all the time. Legion button + X to bring up keyboard, Legion button + thumb stick to change brightness

@Kyle Gospo im so so so sorry for pinging you again, i just wanted to ask you if you made any other tweak to your image to make it so kernel-fsync would work. im trying to install kernel-tkg on my image and it cant properly build the initramfs image on mine, even though i did pretty much the same as you when i was installing the kernel
