FWatts is a measure of energy over time, 15kg is an unchanging force
FSame as Nm > N at stick is dependent on length
FIf you mean what the motor would pull it'd again be dependent on the length
Athe motor has to constantly work against the pull
Aand it's going to be a ballpark figure anyway, but I'm thinking those motors will need to dissipate quite a bit of heat to keep going for any length of time

FIt works but weirdly. In my case, spring force is too weak regardless of the gain value set by the vpforce configurator and timing of occuring buffeting is weird
FI'd say look at max power rating, 15kg would be around there anyways

MThe Rhino is smooth as hell at any force setting
BOnly time it doesn't feel smooth, and i mean smoooth, is when its not powered up.
MYeah, if you move it around without power, it's a little crunchy lol
BPower it up and it makes my otherwise amazing virpil gimbals feel like a bucket of bolts and nuts.
Sthis is why I ask about low force setting smoothness -- whether some of the graininess returns?
BThe anti cogging is seperate from the counter force, so even completely loose its all smooth.
BYou can almost feel more resistance without the motors powered than if you say dial spring down to 0%.

Svirpil gimbals are great, but somehow they have lost out to vkb and winwing in my setup.
Swell the WW Super Libra does have some Virpil DNA in the way I have modded it, namely Virpil's no center cams. With the WW Clutch, that one to date remains "the smoothest" I have
BNever tried vkb, and got virpils early, good enough until I found something truly new. Do have a WW throttle.

S"smooth" for me means both a no center bump and a lack of felt axis crossing
Swarbrd does achieve that, but is very "springy"
BSo sure they are "old" but never felt like it would be worth to spend another $500 for a slightly updated unit
Snyogel + clutch does add to the "smoothness" feel considerably to the cam and springs gimbals in my experience.

MI've used Virpil WarBRD and CM3 (currently still own both, use each for other stuff); have owned VKB GF Mk3s; have owned X-52 pro; have owned TM T16k. Have used: Virpil CM2, VKB Gladiator, X56, TMWH, TB VOne
MI've spent a LOT of money trying to find the right "fit" in sim gear lol. Rhino is the best I've ever used, both for its customizability, and the nature of FFB. Only recently got in to sim racing, and knew that I had to go straight to DD, because the Rhino has ruined me for imitations lol

MYeah, the axes are completely independant in the rhino, you can add a center bump in software, but you definitely don't have one by default. You can also set it up to be linear (and customize the curve), or truly non-linear. IME, even "non-linear" gimbals that use springs still have a force curve
BThat's too bad, I thought it was just me. Do you think it's a game problem or compatibility issue?

e.g. to have the stick return on one axis, but not have any spring feel on the other? (sounds weird but that's a backup use case I might have for the Rhino)

MThey are not only independant, you can split the inputs across the axis. I.e. the left/right and forward/back can all be individually configured
MThe rhino software is pretty crazy. I think it'll launch without a rhino board being detected, it'll just throw a non-detected error. Download it and dig through the settings
