why are Flatpaks considered so much better? I mean I honestly prefer downloading things through a GUI too but the Discover store pisses me off beyond belief
It's not AUR specifically as much as the fact that big Linux distributions like Arch and Fedora tend to have every app you'd want through a terminal install command, Arch's is just the biggest afaik

Yeah I just think repositories are great, so many times I've tried installing something that ends up being a .tar.gz with no sensible documentation on how to install it
