I think phone hardware could be a big part of breaking the dependency on windows for gaming. ARM PC gaming uses most of the same tools as Proton, and what better way to get market share than to become an option on Android. Android devices vastly outnumbers PC.
Ideally, Proton-like translation layers become a first class citizen in terms of game developer support
Hmm I see okay... So primarily I am looking for a HTPC OS but I do like the OS tree rollback stuff so I thought I'd inquire about what the differences are. Can't really find that much on the webs yet
