If you're on Gnome: `gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-enable-primary-paste false` This

If you're on Gnome:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-enable-primary-paste false

This will only disable middle click to paste for GTK apps & I'm not sure if all GTK apps respect this. I know that terminal does.

For KDE, I don't know.

Electron/Chromium requires manual intervention afaik. Some allow you to configure this, some don't.

For Firefox, go to about:config & set this to false: middlemouse.paste
