KYeah I only use my Deck to game, so I never had to use distrobox

GDistrobox is my go to for any CLI programs as well
KI have 3 devices to use, and only code on one of them, the one with Windows, which is my laptop, my Linux desktop and my Steam Deck is for gaming
GI also have all the python dependencies and scripts for loading AI models in a container
KI do web-dev so it's not really complicated, maybe that is why I never had to use it up until now, only need like, Node and that's it
KI am full-time web dev and my web-dev tools all run in distrobox

KAnyway, my point is that I rarely code on Linux, mostly I code on Windows, so using distrobox sounds like overkill, might just grab my laptop whenever I need to code and leave my Linux systems solely for gaming instead

Tbtw im not sure what the fix is because i havent tried waydroid in game mode myself, but have you tried fiddling with controller settings?
Kcurrently trying to figure this out, waydroid straight up does not detect it as existing so thats an issue
Kjesus, does waydroid just run non stop if you exit it? had to go to terminal and use waydroid session stop
Khmm. wonder if i could set something up to quickly stop it while in game mode
Kthe waydroid launcher kills the service when you exit
Kit should also be reloading the controller driver shortly after launch
