Weird question, but why are the names of Flatpaks in Warehouse, and elsewhere (like in BoilR where you want to add a program to steam), a mix of:
- Developer names
- Company names
- Random variables
- Actual names of the programs
- Non-descriptant KDE names
Heliguy = Warehouse, Lorenzo Paderi = Gearlever, George Florea Bănuș = org.kde.haruna, Mohammed Asif Ali Rizvan = WineZGUI, KDE = org.kde.gwenview but also kcalc and okular, 8bit Solutions LLC = Bitwarden, zocker_160 = Syncthing, and so on? Lack of standardisation?
It's the little things like this, that makes you go huh
