Myeah that’s my thought process on it as well. it’s difficult to know what they’ll pay attention to and what falls by the wayside.
Malthough if it’s Gamescope related it should be limited to not working in game mode, no? or does it have to do with the display quirk that gets applied unilaterally?

GHey! I get the exact same issue you do. The duperemove and rmlint services eat up 100% of my disk usage and make any gaming a stuttery mess. It also takes an hour to complete for me each time. I thought it was normal for it to take an hour, but I guess not, huh

Mthere are too many, (ugreen and anker being the most recommended) and I don't understand the difference to an official dock

CIt's more of how much do you have to spend and how many features do you need. I personally got Jsaux RGB dock cuz with ports i need and can use it just feels like a desktop replacement, specially so combined with a legion go
COne of the Jsaux docks too has a built in m.2 slot if you plan to use extra storage when docked, so it's really up to you to sort based on your budget
CHowever you'd want "dock" type of hub as opposed to any macbook usb c hub because it would be charging your device at the same time

CSteam Deck needs 45w while other handheld demand 65w (legion go won't even charge with anything below 45w)
Mthe thing is, using one of these usb-c hubs with the official power supply (45w) is not recommended I believe
Mat least for desktop mode with monitor, keyboard and mouse connected, AC input in the hub too

COh, it's to power all the external stuff you'd may be using
CBut from using steam deck and legion go with their chargers and not too heavy of a use i haven't noticed any issues with using what came with your device
Calso i beleive it's that most of those can do max of 100w charging
MI'll pay more attention to the passthrough hubs

CI have completely forgotten that Steam deck at launch was lowkey a mess and got fixed into super neat device
MI miss the early steam deck days where things like a weak 2.4ghz wifi signal would cause battery health to drop to 0%. fun times.
