BThere's a group of us at work that all have different handhelds. We can test it out if you want. I have a Loki Max, someone else has a GPD Win4, someone else has a Legion Go, and someone else has a steam deck.
TYou’re probably still using amd-pstate-epp unless you explicitly enabled the passive pstate or your not on Bazzite
BI'm definitely on Bazzite. I got my other handheld buddies to install it too.

Aunless you explicitly changed your AMD scaling driver, you're most likely on amd-pstate-epp. You don't see an
Enable CPU Boost toggle, right? and scaling driver at the bottom of the plugin should show amd-pstate-eppAi'm assuming you set power governor to

BYeah no just sliding the performance slider all the way to the right already massively boosts performance from whatever the default profile was on this device.
Ayeah, for certain games, the performance power governor makes a big difference
TThere are ways to set it via the terminal. It’s in the SimpleDeckyTDP readme. But unless you’re on the Ally it doesn’t seem to help and may hurt. Luckily it’s easy enough to switch back.
Along story short, don't do it unless you have an Ally lol

Ahave to recompile the kernel, it gave me some module warnings bc i tried to optimize the config
Ai basically only change the GPU clocks if I notice the game I'm playing is GPU bound
ACPU sitting at 20% but GPU at 99% the entire time
Ain that situation, I just increase the min GPU clock
SYeah tried it on FF7R It halved the frame rate when set to 2700 I guess it didn’t leave enough juice for the cpu, even tho it would hit 2700mhz at times
TWould maxing out the GPU clock prevent it from activating any sort of boosting? Not sure.

Ausually I just set the GPU bounds to something like 1800 to 2700
TNever thought about setting a minimum, gonna have to try that. I have games I routinely hit 99% but CPU isn’t close. I feel like that’ll be most games with the Go though.
