If it's an MP4, you need to make sure that videos are MP4 MPEG H.264 and not other container types https://developer.apple.com/documentation/webkit/delivering_video_content_for_safari

You should always test and configure this using custom domains, you won't be able to use r2.dev in production anyway.

You can make a testing subdomain and a production domain for videos and even point them to the same R2 bucket if you need to, then you have control over all of the caching and other Cloudflare features using the "Rules" settings

Are the other videos that work smaller? It's likely because this file is not being cached, it is over the 500 MB cache limit for Cloudflare unless you're on an enterprise account

Normal colorspace is yuv420p, but a quick ffprobe <file>ffprobe <file> shows it as "none"

It also might be the bitrate - looks a bit high at 10mbps for a 720p video, so iOS might just be rejecting it outright.

How do we assign a custom domain to a private bucket and use it with s3 API

I'm currently using R2 private bucket to GET objects using temporary signed URLs, and it works good, but i would like to assign a custom domain to it, so the URL looks neat.

I want my URLs to look like this:

myusersfiles.com/<object-key>?signed-signature-with-expiry-datemyusersfiles.com/<object-key>?signed-signature-with-expiry-date

and not,

Quick question, was there something going on with R2 on the 27th? We have a huge drop on our CDN domain (only used for images in our mobile app). Our API endpoints and Firebase don't show this drop in users.

(the monday and tuesday drop is expected, we're always getting less users after weekends)
