NYeah then the best idea is probably a clean install after you backup important files like ROMs.

VHaving a catastrphic issue with my Steam Deck running Bazzite in that it is now impossible to be in Desktop mode. If I do put it in that mode, the screen will go black (with the backlight still on) for a bit and then reboot back into the steam mode.
VIt's also failing to upload screenshots
VAnd while for now it's annoying that it's now completely impossible to get to pictures I want, it will soon be a much greater issue if I want to actually use the system in desktop mode for anything more significant.
VOkay, I finally got in, with none of the extensions loaded this time, likely from triggering a failsafe of some sort. That pretty much immediately makes clear what the issue is. I haven't added any custom extensions, so that means that one of the pre-chosen ones is causing a complete desktop crash
VI've re-enabled extensions, let's see if it happens again
Thopefully this is a feature in the future. it's been on the todo list for a long time but implementing it isn't all that simple
