file names on windows are case insensitive, unlike linux, that could be a reason, how are you transferring them?

yea, though sunshine was originally meant to replace GeForce Stream, an nvidia feature that let you stream games from your PC to the nvidia shield

as long as you're not too far away it might be fine, though the latency might not be what you expect

try

sudo rpm-ostree cleanup -m
sudo rpm-ostree cleanup -p

sudo rpm-ostree cleanup -m
sudo rpm-ostree cleanup -p

and reboot. -m should clean up the metadata and -p should get rid of the pending update.

i just set up bazzite in a VM and chose to install sunshine in the first time installer and it seemed to work fine there. i'll try an rpm-ostree update next.

its probably better, my understanding is tailscale is wireguard made easy, so it has a whole bunch of stuff added on top for security. Wireguard, if you know what you're doing, will probably give you best performance on its own

i have a raspberry pi sitting on my network that acts as a tailnet subnet router, so i don't have to install it on all my devices, for when im away from home i still have access to all stuff

It was exactly subnet routing that was giving me issues haha. If my tailscale client was in my network, the routing would fail.

If I was outside the network it worked fine. I actually got on zoom with their devs for a couple meetings explaining my issues.

They fixed my shared node dns issues eventually but wireguard just simplified everything.

On your pi if you want you can try setting up a wireguard node that allows access to your local network (would be same setup as router I think).

yea sounds about right, the only thing i've been able to successfully do that was gaming related was connect to a minecraft server, though so as long as i was not too far away

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/matte-schwartz/sunshine/build/7236800/ your PIN issue should be solved by this, its rebuilding off their release commit and iterates the package so it should update cleanly for people who have it installed. no more following nightly
